Summer Send Off 2026

 Summer Send Off is our Year End Event where we  have a meal together, acknowledge our teams and classes, and hand out year end books and awards!

Date:  Friday, May 8th

We hope you can all join us!  All athletes and families - competitive and recreational - are invited to attend!

​

NEW LOCATION: The event this year is being held at the Owl's Nest Restaurant at Deer Park Golf Course.  

Due to the change in venue, we must sell a minimum number of tickets in order to cover the costs charged by The Owl's Nest.  If we do not reach this number by Friday, April 24th, we will be cancelling the event.

 

 Please purchase your meal tickets by that date if you’d like to join us for supper. Refunds on meal tickets will not be available after April 24th unless the event is cancelled, in which we will refund all ticket sales.

 

Schedule of Events:
5:00 pm - Socializing & Cocktails
5:30 pm - Supper (Pulled Pork, Fries, Corn on the Cob, Garden Salad, Coleslaw, & Bun)

Vegetarian Option Available
6:30 pm - Program (Awards, Year End Books, Year End Slide Show)

The program consists of introduction of teams and classes, awards, graduate presentations, and

a year end slide show.

Ticket Information

All current athletes, regardless of age are considered "Youth".
Siblings under the age of 18 are considered "Youth"

.

There are two types of tickets:

Meal Ticket (Includes supper of pulled pork and sides or vegetarian option) - admission begins at 5:00 pm.
($35 adults, $30 athletes & youth)
General Admission Ticket (Does not include supper.  This is just for the program portion.) - admission begins at 6:15 pm.
($10 per person)

Note: you need a meal ticket OR an admission ticket, but NOT BOTH.

Pop and Water are included in the price of admission.  Alcoholic Beverages will be available for purchase by the Owl's Nest for those over the age of 19.  All minors must be accompanied by their parent.

If you think you may have a credit you’d like to use, please send an email to info@griddercheer.com to inquire. If you do, we will manually purchase your ticket on our end and send you a remaining invoice if required.

Note: The "event" system of our website charges an administrative fee, so we have changed to a website "booking" instead to purchase tickets.  The booking form does not allow us to alter it from our regular bookings, so you will have to ignore the questions about SCA membership, etc. The booking can be found by going to the Summer Send Off tab.

​

If you have dietary restrictions, there is a separate meal ticket to purchase online for Vegetarian / Dietary Restrictions.  We will contact anyone who purchases these tickets to determine your food restrictions
